Question 2 of the prison-Hostel cameras allows, and I will recommend to all, one of the walking tour followed by Ottawa.
I do not think there is a kitchen (I may be wrong), but the ByWard Market is a great place for a meal and food in abundance.
Check-in/out time, in most hostels in Canada is 10 for check-out Check-in-1 or 11 and 2
