Replace bottom of dog crate with plywood? - dog crate replacement pan

My dog has broken plastic molds of 3 on the floor of his cage. Has anyone ever, you just put a piece of plywood there convenient place Plastic stove? I really do not want to buy a replacement to 4 Pan, too expensive.

All suggestions are welcome!

Certainly, he is a boxer 13 months.

Yes, of course you can. (Well, I will not say, but I'm not sure how to get thick \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt assume, 'You're m in the U.S.? ") Put a little wood is thick enough, then he has a difficult task, breaking it. When traveling show dogs, are on a wooden base with a carpet on top of this, and then bed. But we have a puppy of the things that always ends tears, and into the woods ..... no beds, but of course some toys \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt; allegedly!> indestructible. With all due respect, they can not reach to chew, can not be a nail through, and it is so simple ..... the wood with a rag and a small amount of disinfectant to clean or, preferably, vinegar. BTW, you can buy metal trays in the UK, but also very expensive. On with the wood. Your dog will well.

I would hesitate to plywood - use your puppy it could easily hurt, and is too porous to really clean. In addition, if the boxer eat plastic, plywood and Splinter cause internal damage.

You can contact the manufacturer and tell them you are in Pot 4 in 13 months - that can replace it free or just for sending.
